'How Studying Classics Changed My Life'

Bestselling author Jennifer Saint will be talking about how the study of Classics has influenced her life and career. Her novels Ariadne and Elektra are female-centred retellings of Greek mythology which were published in 2021 and 2022. Ariadne, her debut novel, was shortlisted for Waterstones Book of the Year in 2021 and was their Book of the Month in January 2022 while Elektra entered the Sunday Times bestseller chart at #1. Jennifer will discuss her love of Greek mythology and how following her passion led to her success.

This talk will be suitable for 6th Form students taking a Classical subject at A Level, as well as students of English A Level - please spread the word to your colleagues in the English department so that they can tell their A Level students about it too.
